Lake Crystal

Type of vessel: Coal Barge
Date sunk: Feb 14, 1946

Depth: 130 ft

Average Vis: 20 ft

Boat ride: 1 hr

Comments: This wreck lies upside down at 130 ft. Storms over the past few years have heavily silted this wreck in. It is still possible to penetrate through holes in the bow and plates bearing the Ford Motor Company logo have been recovered. Care should be taken as currents in this area can be strong at times.

Larchmont

Larchmont Larchmont

Type of vessel: Paddle Wheeler Steamer
Date sunk: Feb 11, 1907

Depth: 130 ft

Average Vis: 20 ft

Boat ride: 1 hr

Comments: Even though the visibility is 20 ft on this wreck you must treat it as a 130 ft night dive. There is very little light penetration from the surface. This is one of the more interesting dives you can do. It is an awesome site to behold to see the two massive paddle wheels still standing up after 90 years underwater.

Lightburne

Lightburne Lightburne Lightburne

Type of vessel: Tanker
Date sunk:

Depth: 30 ft

Average Vis: 30 ft

Boat ride: 2 hrs 15 min

Comments: This shallow wreck is abundant with fish and sea life among the spindly frame structure of this once great tanker ship. In late July, August and September even tropical fish like trigger, southern sting rays and smaller tropicals inhabit this location. In the morning and evening, the bigger fish have been seen cruising this location.
